This fall, Christies is thrilled to offer the exquisite Phillips Family Collection as part of this season’s 20th Century Evening Sale.

In the Phillips household, the process of art collecting was a true family affair, conducted across generations, amassing a superb collection of French Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art that would be cherished for decades. Expertly assembled with passion and care, the collection is a survey of many of the greatest names from the late-19th and early-20th centuries. The collection will be led this November by Paul Signac’s epic ‘Tertre Denis, Portrieux, Opus 189’ with further highlights including exceptional examples by Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masters Matisse, Pissarro, and Bonnard.
