Even though I’ve now settled in Surrey, I’ll always be a northerner at heart 🇬🇧 ✨ I studied speech science at Sheffield uni and imagined myself going into acute stroke rehabilitation, so this is quite the career pivot! 👩🏼‍⚕️ ✨ I have always been an online human. At first it was live journal, lookbook.nu, blogspot and eventually instagram. I always knew the digital world would be part of my life in some capacity. I just didn’t imagine it could be my job! 💻 ✨ I decided to qualify as a personal trainer and move to London after my studies. I worked in a series of gyms and studios, gradually reducing my hours until I was a full time fitness creator. 🏋🏼‍♀️ ✨ Fitness has gone from being my whole life to a part of my life. My content used to be totally health and well-being focused, whereas now it’s all about what an active lifestyle enables me to do. 💪🏼 ✨ I’ve had some pretty incredible opportunities through this job - like co-hosting six series of a BBC podcast, speaking at the UN, writing a book and being on the cover of the three magazines! 🎙️ ✨ My biggest achievement of all is building @staywildswim with @natalieglaze, and being named Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneurs for our sustainable B Corp business. I can’t believe we’ve been going five years now! (It’s our birthday sale this weekend!). 🌊 ✨ One of my main goals online & through my group trips is to show women that the outdoors is a space for them. One where they can feel confident, challenge themselves and conquer their fears. 🥾 ✨ I accept the fact that I’m a high maintenance outdoorsy gal. I love a hiking trip, but I’ll take my skincare routine and silk pillowcase with me 💁🏼‍♀️ ✨ I’m 6 foot 2 (188cm) and I love it.
