Hokkaido Blue: 1)Lake Mashu known for the unique color of the water dubbed “Mashu Blue”. Located in a caldera in Akan-Mashu National Park, the lake has an unchanging water level, due to the fact that no rivers flow into or out of the lake. Mashu Lake has had an average visibility level of 20 meters, claiming the title for the clearest in the world.
