This beauty is a female Northern eclectus parrot. Unlike other birds in the parrot family, this species exhibits extreme sexual dimorphism, meaning that males and females look very different. While females sport bright red and purple/blue plumage, males are almost entirely covered in bright emerald green feathers. Photo taken @palmbeachzoo.
