Hi my name is Jeanetta of @nettdesigns and I recently co-hosted an art retreat at this incredible chateau in the south of France (shout out to @domaine_d_en_naudet and @Uptrekcom) and had the pleasure of teaching watercolor lessons using the Koi Water Color kit.

I prepped for my retreat workshop creating several paint and brush technique lessons. I planned on teaching watercolor basics and applying them to painting florals and words. The last thing to do was to create the swatch card of the paint palette using a piece of watercolor paper I sized to fit into the kit lid. I painted out each color in the order it is in the kit. I love how vibrant and well pigmented the paint is! I finished it up by writing the names of the colors found on the back of the box using the Pigma Calligrapher pen. This is a great thing to do when getting a new palette to have quick reference of the actual colors in the set while you paint. I showed my students this trick and they each made theirs.
