An uncrewed cargo craft successfully docked to the station’s Poisk module today at 12:19 p.m. EDT, delivering nearly three tons of food, fuel, and supplies to the Expedition 69 crew. Progress 84 lifted off on a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan earlier this morning; the resupply ship will spend roughly six months at the orbiting laboratory before undocking for a destructive but safe re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere to dispose of trash loaded by the crew.
