Photo by @mattborowick | The morning started out cold and rainy, with low-hanging clouds blocking every mountain peak from our view. But once our sailboat made it clear of the mouth of the Rype Fjord, the skies suddenly opened up, seemingly welcoming us with open arms as a hazy golden light shimmered on the water below. One of the few icebergs we could actually see at that time was this one. It was truly a magical moment. This area in eastern Greenland feeds into the much larger Scoresby Sound.
