Banda Neira, also called Banda Naira, is a volcanic island located in the Banda Archipelago, which is part of the Maluku province situated in eastern Indonesia. These islands, historically known as the Spice Islands, are adorned with lush, fragrant, tropical evergreen trees that grow tall. The Myristica Trees, which are native to the Banda Islands, yield two rare and valuable spices - nutmeg and mace - that were once exclusive to the area. These stunning islands are surrounded by a clear, blue sea that is teeming with an abundance of ocean life and beautiful coral reefs, making them not only a significant historical destination but also a popular international diving spot.
