The Bonneville Salt Flats, situated in Tooele County, Utah and located 120 miles to the west of Salt Lake City, are an extraordinary geological formation on Earth. Covering an area of 30,000 acres, they are a white, solid crust of mostly table salt, stretching over 12 miles in length and 5 miles in width. These salt flats are remnants of Lake Bonneville, which used to occupy a significant portion of Utah between 10,000 to 32,000 years ago. Due to their historical significance, the salt flats have been added to the National Register of Historic Places and designated as an Area of Critical Environmental Concern. They are also managed as a Special Recreation Management Area.

Could you tell that the video is upside down? 🙃
