Why has nobody died surfing Pe’ahi despite it being one of the world’s most dangerous big waves?
Simple; guardian angels watch over surfers at Jaws. Kurtis Chong Kee and the Pe’ahi Hui are some of the most respected water safety operators who have pioneered techniques to make sure surfers return home safely to their families. This year @surfline and @heavy_water_surf_official teamed up with @seadoo to ensure Pe’ahi’s angel had new wings.
