Once the sun dips behind the jagged spines of the Swiss Alps, the wind dies down and all you hear is the occasional croak of the glacier and a distant rush of melting water beginning a long journey to the valleys below… your eyes tracing ridge after ridge until they fade into the soft blue horizon. The mountains have a special way of inspiring a sense of calm and awe simultaneously… something that draws you back.
