#tbt Oh Antarctica 🇦🇶 you really did steal my heart. Just over a year ago my dream of going to Antarctica was realized. To say that landing at Wolf’s Fang runway was like landing on another planet, is an understatement! The landscape is surreal and the first icy breath of air you take burns the lungs, but somehow your body knows it’s getting some of the purest air on the planet. The trip was a blur and in hindsight actually feels like it was a dream. If it wasn’t for the beautiful photos and videos, I probably would think it was! What a stunning place, undisturbed by man’s destructive nature. It’s cathartic, soul rejuvenating and peaceful. A part of me never wanted to leave and a part of me remains there forever.
@davidyarrow thank you for making my dream a reality and @white.desert.antarctica thanks for running such a slick operation. Your staff are truly what sets you apart. A big thanks to @craghoppers for kitting me from head to toe and keeping me from freezing to death in those minus plenty degrees celcius. Your gear really did outperform my expectations.
