Wonderful meet up in New York City for the 95th annual @americanalpine. The event celebrated the @fullcircleeverest expedition and the representation that they bring to millions of people. @algore and Jim Frush shared the story of their ascent of Rainier while Mr Gore was VP. (Yes the @secretservice are solid climbers and the "nuclear football" was some how on the 10 essential item list.) They summited in bad weather.
@fred_climbs presented the climb and the team in an uplifting and motivating keynote. Thinking of how many people will motivated to try experiential outdoor sports and yes - we are bringing goodness to people. Congratulations again Full Circle Team.
@mo.in.mountains & @cody.kaemmerlen kept the "belay transitions" between speakers smooth and sprinkled with humor.
Catching up with friends, getting a chance see and understand the direction the AAC is heading and chuckling at the absurdity of climbers in gowns & suits made for a wonderful weekend.
