I was lucky enough to share a flawless Teahupo’o lineup with people I’ve always admired. After a couple hours, Morgan had to change batteries on the boat and ended up seeing this momma and baby Humpback whale drift by outside the lineup. I ended up switching out my board for swim fins and we gently drifted down the reef pass to meet them in the water. The mom was sleeping on the surface while the baby was showing off and what felt like imitating us diving down and twirling around. Honestly one of the most breath taking moments of my life.
