Proud to show you my February cover of @womenshealthnl 🫶🏼🥹. from not being able to walk with non stop pain, to today..❤️‍🩹 After not being able to train for 5 months post hernia surgery, I barely had 6 weeks to get get ready to do the shoot in December. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Constantly convincing my mind what my heart already knew it wanted to do: recover and come back stronger than ever. Not knowing it would result in one of the biggest covers I’ve done in my career🫶🏼 thank you guys for always being my number one support even if that meant I couldn’t be the energetic happy self at times in my recovery.🤕💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While still in recovery i set my mind on eating healthy and enough, putting my health first. I tracked my macros with @mybestshapeapp and decided it was time to beat my own limits. I HAD to do this for myself💪🏽. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ to close it off.. Let me be your reminder that when you’re in a bad period and bridging the space between where you are and where you want to be, that the person you’re becoming is already within you🙏🏽🔥 it may sound cliche.. but when I was crying on the couch, of the pain post surgery, all I could think of was that even this hell was part of the journey.
