小林さやかさんのインスタグラム写真 - (小林さやかInstagram)「明けましておめでとうございます！ニューヨークで初めての新年を迎えております。感慨深いなぁと浸りながらも、しっかり寝正月を過ごしています。昨年は私にとって節目の年となり、密かにずっと夢だった留学を叶えられた年になりました。17年前に恩師からもらった「その時の自分にとって圧倒されるくらいでかい壁を乗り越える経験をしろ。そしたらとんでもなく成長できる。」という言葉を、久しぶりに体現できた気持ちがしています。尊敬する友人たちと愛する家族のお陰です。今年は「人生で一番辛かったけど、人生で一番楽しかった！！」と言える一年にしたいと思っています。あと、昨年11月に出版した新刊「ビリギャルが、またビリになった日」も大変好評で、出版一カ月で早速重版がかかりました！たくさんの嬉しいレビューをお守りに、来学期も精一杯学びを吸収して、アウトプットも頑張っていこうと思うので、どうぞよろしくお願いします！ Happy new year! I'm starting the year off in New York City and getting lots of sleep to recharge my energy. Last year was a big year for me - I was finally able to start studying abroad, something I'd dreamed of for a long time. 17 years ago, my mentor told me, "Experience overcoming a big wall that it is overwhelming for you at the time, and you will grow tremendously." I feel like I embodied those words last year, thanks to the support of my friends and family. I hope this year will be the hardest, but also the most fun, I've ever had. Also, my book that I published in November was really well-received and was reprinted within a month.
