I think about where I was and it's amazing how much of a difference I can see and feel. As pleased as I am today, my past struggles is always a reminder of how important getting help is. These battles with my mental health has played a huge part in who I am. I feel like I'm stronger, more compassionate, and empathetic because of it. Going through those dark times were difficult, of course, but the journey of facing my demons and learning how to deal with them in a healthier way has been so rewarding. Having a platform like @mindspringinfo is so important in that process. Mindspring is a non-profit organization that provides free mental health education, advocacy, and resources to anyone in need. They will be holding a golf tournament on September 16th in Des Moines, Iowa. This is the organization's largest source of funding each year and I'm so grateful to be a part of it! They are able to keep it's services free of charge thanks to grants and donor dollars.
