When most people talk about body size they feel an instant sense of shame or self defence to justify why they are the way they are and not “slimmer” or “bigger” as society would want them to be as women and men accordingly. But I’m taking a different stance on this and celebrating people for what they ARE rather than mourning what we are NOT. I believe that each and every curve, contour and inch of our bodies should be celebrated, cherished and appreciated for precisely what makes us the individuals that we are. Whether a person has 1” or 14”, an A cup or JJ, with a 20” waist or 48”, a 35” chest or 55”, 4ft tall or 7ft we should never feel ashamed or embarrassed of the skin that we are in. Together we can normalise body confidence and self acceptance and be open and honest about our bodies without the need to compare ourselves to others or criticise those who do not meet our personal preferences.
