The last thing I wanted was a serious commitment fresh out of a 9 year relationship & marriage. I was 100% dedicated to being single for years, living in another country & frolicking on an island to figure out who I was unattached to someone else, you know, the normal way to do things… fully embracing solo life and seeing what I was capable of outside of serious partnership.

But there’s no official rule book for this. What truly is a correct & appropriate time to commit to another relationship? It was easy to find myself caught between what I told myself I “should” do, and what IS true & worth it.

Evan has undoubtedly been the most healing & inspiring part of my life. His influence and mentoring has pushed me to grow in the most powerful & positive way. Never telling me what I want to hear and equally hard (& patient) with me in the most loving and growth encouraging way. He has believed in me more than anyone else, myself included. Freedom is never stifled and we talk about anything without fear or judgement. He is my biggest inspiration and loudest cheerleader.

This is by far the healthiest relationship I’ve ever experienced and we have that magnetism… so honoring that (instead of running away) has led me to this place… doing all the things in life, relationship, and business together.

& what I realized is that if you are in the right relationship, you are far more capable in anything, than doing it alone. Not everyday is perfect, but we are 100% committed to our growth as individuals as well as a couple and I am grateful to share this time & space on this earth with him.

When you find your person, you find your person & if you are better with them than without, why would you want anything different? 🥰 I ❤️‍🔥 you @evan_demarco
