The first version of this landing is slowed down by 2.5x, because in real time, this little bird is so quick you can’t make out what’s happening at all. The second version is slowed down roughly 40x from the original shot at nearly 1000 frames per sec. I love the way ultra-slow motion reveals a whole new world of detail in birds that you just can’t see otherwise.
