I often see the world outside trains,
It always looks more beautiful than they told me about,
Is it because train journeys help me leave behind my own prejudices,
Or is it because during these journeys I’m absolutely in love with myself,
For I always look back at trains when I’m sad in life,
When things aren’t going my way,
And all I want in those disappointing phases is to pack my bags,
Take the first train to anywhere,
Sit by the window and just watch the world pass me by,
And maybe this way life will pass me by too,
The parts that I wanna skip,
And as the destination will arrive closer,
Maybe the better parts too.
