Winner of Best Exploration in our Wallpaper* Design Awards 2021 is Gucci’s new men’s and women’s capsule outerwear collection, designed by Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele in collaboration with outdoor expert The North Face. ⁠

The collection, which will be launched online and at Gucci Pins, the brand’s globetrotting series of temporary stores, starts with a pop-up in London’s Selfridges, available to shop via virtual appointment. It will feature puffer jackets, hiking rucksacks and bum-bags swathed in psychedelic, floral and graphic retro prints bearing Gucci’s interlinked ‘GG’ motif, as well as patterns that reimagine The North Face’s ‘Half Dome’ logo in Gucci’s classic red and green colour palette.⁠
