You may have noticed a distinct lack of Ocean Beach in this ongoing swell coverage. That’s mostly because it’s been too damn big all week for any reasonably sane surfer to tackle the crazy currents, endless rows of whitewater and peaks that always seem to detonate just out of reach — and/or on one’s head. Here’s a look from this morning, from the safety of the hill. (And yes, a few crazy folks have tried to surf that outer shoal, to very limited success.)
