It is unusual to have such a low coastal fog during the winter season in San Francisco. I clearly remember that day. I spent several hours practicing my violin in preparation for concerts and recordings. After all, 2020 was supposed to be an important year, as the world was just getting ready to celebrate 250 years since Beethoven’s birth. I kept an eye on the fog during my practice, hoping it would not dissipate before the golden hour. As soon as I got airborne, I realized it would be one of those special and unforgettable days. I circled over the city and the Golden Gate Bridge a few times, trying to capture the magic that was unfolding in front of my eyes.
