I don’t like upsetting people and love when ‘everyone is happy’ — which often makes me so concerned about those around me more than I am concerned with checking in with myself and how I feel. I want to be easy-going, but I don’t want to compromise myself in the process. I hate saying ‘no’ when friends ask for help, and when I do, I feel guilty for having boundaries but it’s all a process I am trying to get better at. Saying no is okay. I don’t need an explanation.
