I guess that's always the case, but the year was for sure different than what most people would have expected. "COVID" seemed to be the word of the year 2020 and something the whole world had to deal with. To fight the virus drastic measures were taken and it always made me wonder where humanity would stand at, if we'd tackle climate change and social justice problems with the same determination. I have also realized how important family and friends are in difficult times. I'm grateful for so many amazing humans in my life, who constantly inspire me to become a better human myself, to acknowledge my privileges, to listen to what others have to say, to appreciate small things, to be happy with less, to make changes and to eat loads of carrots. The list of people is getting longer and you still can only post 10 pictures at a time. I have also learned that social media can be a place with very little respect, where people think they are not responsible for their actions and behavior. Even social media is a place where we should be kind to reach other, respect each other and not behave irresponsible. Have a lovely 2021 everybody!
