It is a ceremony of rebellion since it has its origins when African people were brought by the colonizers for slavery in America. I took this portrait of a devil from the Diablos de Coyantes dancing group in Cuajinicuilapa. Today the dance is usually performed during the celebrations of the Day of the Dead.
