Where does this road go?
Who am I to know,
It’s not for me to care,
For I’m here walking upon it with mountains painting my horizon,
As I walk upon it without any thought,
Only the desire the witness magic,
As I watch the last of the sunlight fall upon the ridges up ahead.

For who am I to say where my destination lay,
As I began this journey with nothing but hope in my heart,
Not a name on my lips,
But dreams in my eyes,
Visions of laughters somewhere far ahead,
As I try to smile with the moments I live in the present,
Searching for small happiness,
While I walk ahead,
Towards a larger one.

And maybe down this road,
Tomorrow or day after,
Or someday in the future,
I will know,
As this path will show,
How the future would be like,
What surprises my coming days hold,
How this life will mould,
Every desire within me.

For it is not my place,
To decide upon where this road leads me,
I’m just a traveller,
Walking upon it,
Mesmerised by the views it sends my way,
Still coming to terms with the happiness of the memories,
I keep discovering in my heart,
Which only continue to teach me,
To live this moment a little more.

For one day as I sit beside this road,
In a place that’ll finally look like a destination,
I might come to a realisation that larger happiness was never the destination,
For it was always the journey.
