Our Galettes des Rois are here in Soho, whole and by the slice through January 24th. They’re one of my favorite pastries we make every year, with a flaky puff pastry crust hand-scored on top to resemble a crown, filled with creamy almond frangipane inside. These traditional French cakes are eaten to celebrate Epiphany (when the 3 kings visited baby Jesus), and come with a golden paper crown and little fève to hide inside, so whoever finds it is king or queen for the day. 👑 (Think: almond croissant in cake form!)
