Tips for getting into the Christmas spirit:

1. Watch the cheesiest holiday lifetime/hallmark movie possible (maybe make a drinking game out of it)
2. Bake your favorite Christmas cookie (give some to friends/neighbors, too!)
3. Drive around and look at the lights.
4. Wrap presents! Actually wrap them if you want to get into the spirit—no bags allowed. Listen to the Vince Guaraldi Charlie Brown soundtrack in the background.
5. Donate to your local food bank!
6. Think of your favorite holiday tradition growing up and make it happen (mine was eating shrimp, artichokes, and cheesy potatoes on Christmas Eve—you bet I’m doing that).
7. Hide your phone and watch your favorite childhood holiday movie.
