In fact, given the misuse of PCR testing, I would be much more concerned that I had the virus if I lost my sense of smell and had other symptoms than if I had no symptoms and a positive PCR test. The good news is that most people return to smelling everything within 14 days if they even get that symptom at all. However, it looks like it’s a common symptom! Although the survival rate is high on this, it’s not something you want to get, and definitely not something you want to give to someone else.
