A commission as a gift from a husband to his wife. I have been enjoying diptychs and was so happy to create one for this couple. Whenever it’s a commission for two lovers, I always try to evoke a sense of an interdependent relationship in the composition. Not necessarily always naked to the eye, but if you can feel it. It’s a fun challenge to create compositions that push and pull. For it is what’s been left unsaid (negative space) that creates the desire ❤️ @studiofongminliao
