Photos by @Tim Laman. Black-capped Chickadee take off! I’ve been out shooting my backyard birds some more this week after we had some fresh snow. Always trying to come up with something new! Pretty happy with this one. How did I freeze the chickadee? 1/8000 sec, f2.8, ISO800, Canon 400mm f2.8 lens, Canon 1DXII. But the harder part, how did I get it in focus?
