But for some people staying together this long Doesn’t mean staying in love and supporting each other. :::::: Even though I have been in a long term relationship almost all of my adult life (2 relationships, 14 years total) I think the success of a relationship should be measured by • how much you’ve grown as an individual • whether or not you achieved your greatest potential (or at least you had the drive and support of your partner to try!) • whether or not you felt safe, accepted and understood • whether or not you get like you could make your dreams come true? :::::: To me, Surviving in a 10 year relationship is not as impressive as it is thriving and a five-year-old relationship. :::::: During lockdown, I was looking for a relationship expert that was practicing what they preach, someone who had a long-term relationship, was married with kids but most importantly — actually happy and fulfilled. ::::: That’s how my Relationship Course taught by @emma_power came about.
