Situated on a rocky headland in Punta Cometa, this Mexican retreat is a place where you can watch the sun both rise and set over the ocean. The owner, hotelier @ccoutu2000, made the most of its outdoor spaces, including around the property’s two stone towers, designed by architects @maurocha and @gabcarrillo. The kitchen is situated at the base of the upper tower—below a reading room—and opens onto the focal point of the house: the palapa. In the kitchen, a butcher block sits on a volcanic stone base; the sink is by Alia, the backsplash and open cabinets are clad in Portuguese tiles, and the handmade glassware is Mexican.
