I had the pleasure of meeting Abe Daiki, a bonsai artist at Bonsai Abe in Fukushima (linked below) and he explained to me the work that it takes to raise bonsai, a family art that has been passed down from his grandfather who first started growing bonsai trees in the early 1900s. ✨
