Rediscover Fukushimaさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Rediscover FukushimaInstagram)「The friendliest sushi chef you’ll ever meet. 😁✨ I was really happy to meet and become friends with Mr. Sakurai Hiromi when I came for dinner at his sushi and sashimi bar in Soma city. His shop is called "Edo Ichi" and it's only a short walk from the train station! He prepared some of the best sushi and sashimi I have ever had, all freshly sourced from around Northern Japan and even Hokkaido. 🐟🐙😋 My favorite was some delicious octopus that was locally caught by Mr. Sakurai with hand made fishing lewers! It looked and tasted so good that I forgot to take a picture! 😍🐙 Mr. Sakurai has such an infectious laugh. he shared some Japanese dad jokes, or "Oyaji Gyagu." with us. 😂💕 He let me take a video to share so if you understand the jokes let me know. If not feel free to ask for an explanation. (Hint: in Japanese "nomi" means "to drink", and "kyuusu" means "tea pot") 😉 Mr. Sakurai has such a warm personality, even though it was my first time there, it felt like we had been friends for years.
