Rediscover Fukushimaさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Rediscover FukushimaInstagram)「Sazaedo Temple, a mysterious and rare temple with a double helix staircase!✨ The walls and ceiling of Sazaedo Temple are plastered with ’senjafuda’ (千社札) which were originally stuck on by visitors who made a pilgrimage to the temple.😇(Today this practice had been discontinued.) 🚫 Back in the day, each family had their own family senjafuda that they would bring when they came to pray, it signified a pilgrimage or visit to a temple.
