Fasting from toxic words that take away your power is a really powerful practice, even if you're still eating. These weasel words create artificial boundaries that your subconscious believes. When you say you “can't” do something, it's rarely true. What you're saying is you don't know how to do it with the tools you have. But that doesn't mean you can't do it—it means you don’t want to do it. If someone told you they were going to “try” to pick you up at the airport, you’d know very well not to count on them. So why would you “try” to improve yourself? Why would you “try” to lose weight? Why would you “try” to do anything? What would happen if you just said you’ll DO it (whether you want to do it or not)? That's how I roll. That's how we roll in my house. And that's how we move in my companies...because it feels good to be radically honest with your use of language.
