Photo by @paoloverzone / A late afternoon view of the wetlands of Camargue in southern France. Situated between the two arms of the Rhône River, the Camargue region is one of the most peculiar ecosystems in Europe. It is a paradise for horses, bulls, and a variety of birds (more than 400 species) that live free and protected in Camargue Regional Nature Park. The park is a perfect place for trekking, riding horses, or bird-watching in a magical natural landscape between land and sea. The light of Camargue is part of the experience and has inspired many artists for centuries.
