One arrived on my doorstep courtesy of a most wondrous serendipitous monthly #mypitchpine drawing by the generous souls at @pitchpinepottery. A holder of ritual, incense arising, and time spent crossing linear lines.

This bat is more than a lucky winning, a work of art or a gracious gesture. It is inexplicably timely to a season laid down & long shed into an embrace of a new chapter. I love this bat. It is a gift and smile, a providential wink and nudge, a friend and reminder, with timing that I just can’t make up. It holds all the more meaning and specialness that it came from the hands of my favorite ceramic artisans and potters at @pitchpinepottery. I’m undone. Thank you from my heart. I cannot thank you enough.
