Restaurateur @quentindefleuriau tapped close friend and interior designer #florencelopez to reimagine what once was an old bistro. After seeing the place, Lopez was quickly inspired by Paris' beautiful gardens. Elements of nature are everywhere in the new restaurant, Mon Square: The front doors have brass handles in the form of branches; the floors and many walls are dark green; and tables have brass bases with tops in green agate or pink quartz. To complete chic and colorful restaurant, she collaborated with a trio of artists: @sachaflochpoliakoff who painted the mural in the pink salon; @belasilvaartist, a ceramist who created a number of exotic pieces for the restaurant including this elaborate tree and birds in a birdcage behind the central bar; a private room off the upstairs dining room is a collaboration with contemporary artist contemporary artist @mathiaskiss.
