That placed where I finally feel like I’m in my own skin. I looked up at the sparkling lights with folded arms that night, and I furrowed my brow, remembering. Somehow I was also mad that I forgot. What happens? Where do I go off? Getting so wrapped up in everything else. When there are so many paths to walk, which one do I choose? It’s real to feel we need to juggle so much, do this, that and the other, before we can simply stop. Yet without the remembrance of our most natural state, we’re simply doing just that. Juggling life, getting by, just surviving, not thriving. We must connect with ourselves first, to walk a true path, Heart forward. I wake this morning back in the city, Election stirrings, intense energy in the air. A desire to just get out- Yet a quiet voice says Find the connection and the peace right here. What ways do you find home and true connection in the business of it all? This morning this piece of writting, a quick meditation, and the intention to listen to something other than my thoughts, has me here. Now I am established in being before I take action on all those ‘to do’s’. Thank you to Nature for always reminding me it’s within me, just waiting for my recognition. I’m listening, I’m here.
