アシュリー・ハートさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アシュリー・ハートInstagram)「I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. Someone asked me recently ‘where are you at in your life right now?’ And as it often happens, I thought of much truer representation of that answer afterwards. Simply put, I’m constantly uncomfortable in every area of my life, that’s where I’m at right now. I’ve always known change and growth comes with discomfort, but at the moment it’s like I’m on a new edge that I’ve never experienced before. It’s literally present in everything I do. I’ve been attempting to surf over the last several months and it feels like what I’m learning and experiencing with surfing is a metaphor for my life right now: having no idea what I’m doing and kind of shit scared, feeling out of my depths, taking some pretty hard hits, and being wiped out wave after wave. All I want to do some days is just give up, paddle back to shore and cry. I’ve admittedly only caught about as many waves as I can count on my hands, (ok maybe one hand), but the feeling of catching those waves has kept me going. I know that with the consistency and practice, eventually it all pays off. Everything feels to be like this new, uncharted territory, and somehow I trust that there is a new level of joy, success and expansion on the other side, as I stumble over these rocky roads. The reason I share this is because so often we assume we know how others feel and live in comparison to us, yet we are all going through it, in our own way. We’re in a collective movement right now, not just for humans but for our very Earth. We’re all being asked to die and say goodbye to the world and the self that we knew and discover how to recreate ourselves by walking this unidentified road untraveled, as a way to move forward. There is no going back. It is in this middle stage, which I feel a lot of us are in, where it is down right uncomfortable!!! We must stay awake, adapt, go within, and deeply listen. We must take scary new actions and teach ourselves new ways and new skills. There is big perfect wave to catch, timed perfectly, for you, for me, for all of us. Keep trusting and keep paddling. Let’s let go of the embarrassment of not knowing and no matter what not look back. (Text Continue in comments)」10月12日 2時01分 - ashleyhart
