Upon reaching Chandrashila peak for sunrise, I saw a few people debating about whether it was 4000 mts tall or was it lower, initially even I took part in that debate.

But as the time went by, and I watched the sun emerge from behind the Himalayas, feeling its warmth hitting my skin as I sat there, eating my paneer parantha, I came upon a realisation that it didn’t matter how tall Chandrashila was.

For the birds flying there or the winds caressing our hair didn’t care for a second about the height, weight, religion or caste of the peak, the nature continued playing its game and instead of enjoying them, it was stupid of us to engage in a baseless debate about the height of that peak, for it was beautiful nonetheless.

And in the end, we remained as small in front of it, as we were before.
