Grace Bonneyさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Grace BonneyInstagram)「While AMBOS Project (@ambosproject) encompasses many things, our largest activation was the piece “Border Quipu/Quipu Fronterizo” that we completed with help from thousands of people along the entire US/Mexico border. We travelled to border crossings from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico speaking with people who cross, work or live along the border. Many shared their stories with us, and many others were too uncomfortable or scared or uninterested to engage. For those who encounter the border daily, it's not often that they are asked how it makes them feel. Above are some of the responses we got during this activation in the different cities we visited. Each region has a different relationship and history to the border, and every person who crosses has their own story of complicated connections to the 2 nations divided.
