“The very busy 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season kept on churning with the development of Cat 3 Hurricane Epsilon over the central Atlantic last week,” explains Surfline’s Mike Watson. “It’s the fourth major hurricane of the past two months and the third significant swell for the U.S. East Coast after Hurricanes Paulette and Teddy. Epsilon took a similar track as those storms, and its slow movement and strong intensification allowed it to send widespread swell throughout the Caribbean and to the East Coast.”
