"She’s amazing in business, with her command of facts and figures and details. But she also has this historic memory of decorative arts. She uses both sides of the brain—it was fascinating to work with her." Interior designer @thomashamel describes one client from a recent project, whom he worked closely with on every corner of this London townhome. Hamel and his client started with the wallpaper. From there, their creative collaboration took shape, leading to a Belgravia townhouse with contemporary bones, punches of pink and green, and de Gournay prints in unexpected places. In the main bedroom, a patinated brass-and-steel mirror from @galeriemougin in Paris hangs above a dresser from Dessin Fournir, and the chandelier is from @guinevere_antiques.
