Livorno has grown through the centuries along with the industrial nature of the port, one of Italy’s biggest. Its origins date back to the ancient world, though its development as we know the city today took place in the past few centuries. The Medicis started to shape the city and since then it has been a melting pot for different cultures, which have forged its unique, genuine, and charming identity.
