Aside from their famous camouflaging abilities, including matching the color and texture of their environment and using black ink to cloak their escape, octopuses have hundreds of suckers along their eight arms. Each sucker individually aids with touch and smell thanks to thousands of neurons, which act like a brain in their arms.
